A patient information meeeting for patients, relatives and friends is held once a month in the Centre. These informal meetings are designed to provide the opportunity to meet others, to be updated on current topics and to have an informal chat with refreshments. We regularly organise a guest speaker, to cover a particular topic within the general field of cancer treatment, advice and holistic therapies. We have to date held meetings on diet, the benefits of exercise, visualisation, complementary therapy, psychological support, relaxation and hypnotherpy and talks from patients who have completed treatment and are back in the workplace.
