Every two months a meeting is held, with refeshments, for relatives and friends of cancer patients in order to give information and support in a confidential environment.

A follow-up meeting has been established which enables patients on completion of their radiotherapy or chemotherapy treatment to maintain links with the Clinic.

Contact with these patients is maintained by regular phone calls. A weekly visit is made to Parkside Hospital to maintain links with and to support in-patients who are undergoing cancer treatments or who are too unwell to go home. Daily visits are made to the patients in the Chemotherapy suite at Parkside Hospital undergoing intra-venous chemotherapy and their information needs are addressed immediately.
