All private hospitals and clinics in the UK are regulated by the Government's Healthcare Commission and are inspected regularly to ensure compliance with the Department of Health's Independent Healthcare National Minimum Standards. These standards exist to provide assurances to patients and the public about the standards of treatment and services offered by independent healthcare providers.

Parkside Oncology clinic and the Consultanst and medical practitioners working here are covered by the Clinic's registration with the Healthcare Commission. As of 2005, the Clinic, which was previously registered as a standalone facility is now covered by Parkside Hospital's registration. The Hospital and Clinic are responsible for ensuring all sugeons and practitioners are suitably qualified and conduct their practise in accordance with the guidelines. Surgeons and practitioners must also take part in clinical governance measures which are monitored by the Healthcare Commission. Inspection reports on the Hospital are available via the Healthcare Commission website as are pre 2005 reports specifiaclly for the Clinic.
